The summer of 2003 marked a turning point in my life. I remember it well. My mother and I went into the ‘Kruidvat’ (Dutch store). Shopping with my mum used to be a nightmare. Because whenever we went shopping together, she would race around the stores like a whirlwind and I just tried to keep up with her, hoping it would all be over soon. But this time the cover of a book caught my attention. A big, white exploding yacht. “The Golden Rendez-Vous” by Alistair MacLean was on it in bright yellow characters.  Continue reading

Bucket Lists are incredibly personal. What gets you excited, might make me nauseous and what sends me over the moon, might bore the crap out of you. Good thing too, life wouldn’t be that interesting if everyone was aspiring to the same goals. A conversation with a friend of mine inspired me to write down my goals.
