The 43 year-old American currently stars in the action movie Non-Stop and has recurring roles in the popular television series The Blacklist and Homeland. Trish Williams – TV Network Executive – Director of Drama (c) Allaccessosm.com

Whenever I board an airplane, I try not to get my hopes up too high about the person sitting next to me. I’ve accepted the fact that the chances of George Clooney flying Economy are below zero, but just someone friendly and interesting to talk to would be nice! On the flight from Toronto to Vancouver however I had the pleasure of meeting Trish Williams, Network Executive for Bell Media. She worked on one of the best television series I have ever seen (Flashpoint, starring Enrico Colantoni and Amy Jo Johnson) and has been kind enough to answer my questions about her fascinating profession! When you see a fire, your natural instinct is to run away from it, as far and as fast as possible! Things are different for firefighters. They have to face the danger in order to save lives. But running into buildings that are on fire, is only part of the job. Therefore I’m glad chief John Widdershoven of the firefighter unit in Brunssum was kind enough to talk to me about what it means to be a firefighter, chasing exotic animals and why you seldom see an job advert in the newspapers for the fire department.
